Guitars under his own label are very rare, as Gustav Dahms was the leading guitar maker in the workshop of Herman Hauser I and guitars built by him were therefore sold under the Hauser label.
His instruments are prized because they are built to a very high standard of craftsmanship.

This blazon style guitar from 1925 is a splendid example of Dahm’s craftsmanship. The guitar has a fine spruce top and finest birdseye maple for back and sides. The woods are of first class quality.
The scale length of the guitar is 645 mm and the nut width is 45 mm.

The sound of the guitar is an absolute pleasure … there are guitars like this with which you immediately feel an inner connection and which you quickly take to your heart. This is exactly the case with this guitar.
The sound is very touching and this guitar awakens deep emotions. The basses are round and precise, with a very special and enchanting quality. The singing and crystalline trebles offer a fantastic range of timbres.
The sound of the guitar is fine and delicate, yet one is amazed at how loud it can get and the volume it unfolds. Definitely a romantic guitar on a very high level.

The guitar is in very good and excellent playable condition, with a low action and a straight neck.
