Description

Spectacular sounding Guild F-30 1966 “Aragon” – built in Martin 000-18 style, it has a very impressive vintage sound!

Guild is one of the big US-American manufacturers of guitars beside Martin and Gibson. The company was founded in 1952 by Alfred Dronge and George Mann. By 1956 Guild was already so successful that they had to move to larger premises in Hoboken, New Jersey. Here some of the Guild guitars that are in great demand today were built.

During the 1950’s and 1960’s, Guild supplied many of the famous musicians and became increasingly popular.

From the golden age of Guild comes this great F-30. This is the “old” F-30 shape and clearly marks itself out as a competitor to the venerable Martin 000-18.

It sounds resonant and punchy, with a full and deep tone. It has the vintage warmth you want and is truely a charming instrument. It has a comfortable action (had a neck reset) and a great feeling neck. The nut width is 43 mm.

This Guild F-30 1966 “Aragon” is in great condition for its age. A pickguard crack has been repaired.

It comes with the original case.
