Walter J. Vogt is a renowned German guitar maker. He was born in 1936 in Bad Horb and died in 1990. He is known for his fine handcrafted instruments. His annual production was limited to a small number of instruments in order to meet the highest quality standards.
He has made a name for himself among the professional guitarists, as his guitars are outstanding in sound and he has always been happy to respond to the wishes of his customers in order to create individual master instruments with a personal touch.
He also did a lot of research and developed different approaches to solve intonation problems on guitars.
The top of this great guitar is made of beautiful spruce, while the back and sides are made of Indian rosewood.
It has an oval soundhole, which Vogt often used for his guitars.
The scale length is 650 mm and the saddle width 52 mm.
The guitar plays very easily, with a pleasantly flat neck and a low action. The condition is very good and the guitar has some signs of use according to its age and a small superficial repaired crack on the back.
The sound is outstanding … the guitar has an enormous power and a dynamic. It is lively and reacts very precisely. The sound is very clear and the guitar brings out the most beautiful timbres. This guitar is worked out to the finest detail and therefore unfolds a unique and unmistakable sound.
It comes with a newer guitar case.
