A few years ago it was overhauled at Hopf and received a new top. The top was fitted with a carbon fiber reinforced lattice bracing in line with the famous Hopf model “La Portentosa Evolucion”. This construction amplifies the volume and projection of the guitar, creating a big, resonant sound that fills both intimate and large rooms with ease.
It is built with a 664 mm scale length and 54 mm nut width, it offers a comfortable playing experience, with an action set at 3.5 mm on the low E string and 2.8 mm on the high e string at the 12th fret. The back and sides are made from exquisitely grained rosewood, while the top features premium cedar.

The powerful trebles respond very quickly and project well, while the deep basses resonate throughout the guitar, making playing this guitar a real experience.
The guitar produces a tone that is both room-filling and warm, characterised by a dark timbre and excellent separation of the individual notes. The balance between bass and treble is even throughout, making this wonderful guitar a versatile instrument, suitable for a wide range of musical styles and techniques.
