Rare 1954 Gibson Les Paul model – the famous “Goldtop”.
This beautiful guitar is a real treasure with great feel and excellent tone. It comes with the original Lifton case.Â
The guitar is in player grade condition. It has been fitted with an additional humbucker a long time ago. This was then professionally reversed.
During this work the top was oversprayed (underneath the overspray is the original finish. The sides, back and neck have a refinish. The back of the neck has been sanded as well. The serial number is no longer legible for this reason.
Furthermore, 2 potties were exchanged in this process. Vintage Grover tuners were also installed.
The main parts of the guitar are original (pickups, neck, body, pickguard, bridge, case …). The headstock has the original finish + Gibson decal.
