Gibson J-50 Deluxe from 1973 – really a beautiful sounding guitar!
We like this Gibson J-50 with its massive tone and great vintage character.
The Gibson J-50 is one of the famous Gibson models – the list of famous musicians who have played a J-50 is long.
It’s basically like a J-45 in natural finish.
It sounds very open and warm, with a nice attack, good bass and enormous power. A guitar with character and history.
It is a players grade guitar in well used condition. It has many signs from play and use over the year. Some repairs have been done as well. The guitar has received a neck reset and a refret along with a refinish of the neck. As a ressult it plays like butter, with a low action and a straight and comfortable neck. Our luthier has checked the guitar and it is 100% ready to go!
According to the serial number, and with the help of the previous owner we were able to date it to 1973.
It plays very well with a low action.
The guitar comes with a newer hard case.
