Description

Antonio Morales Nogues 2011 model Santos Hernandez – extremely good replica by the famous “last” guitar maker of Paco de Lucia’s.

Antonio Morales Nogués was born in 1956 in Monesterio. At the age of 15 he moved to Palma de Mallorca, where he still lives and works.
He was trained by George Moore Bowden, with whom he later worked for many years. Since Bowden’s death, Morales has continued to run the workshop in Palma. He was a friend of Paco de Lucia. He built a flamenco guitar for him, which Paco used on his last album, Cancion Andaluza, among others.
Many therefore call him Paco de Lucia’s last guitar builder.

It has a beautiful spruce top and rosewood back and sides. The scale length is 655 mm and the nut width is 51 mm.

The sound is rich, deep and has an exceptionally fine tonal quality supported by a solid, almost confident fundamental in the middle of each note. The loose and lively nature of this guitar is impressive. We love how the trebles sing on this guitar and how they combine with the powerful basses to create a wonderful sound experience. The sound also has great sustain.
Overall, a very charming instrument that comes close to Santos Hernandez’ guitars.

The guitar is in good condition with the usual signs of usage. It comes with a hard guitar case.
