Description
This flamenco guitar from Rafael Díaz, one of the most respected pioneers of the world famous guitar building school of Granada, is truly an exceptional guitar!
Like his brother Francisco, Rafael learned from master luthier Eduardo Ferrer and Manuel de la Chica. Rafael Diaz was (unfortunately he passed away a few years ago) one of the famous guitar builders from Granada and built guitars that are very popular with professionals and amateur guitarists alike.
This guitar is a typical guitar from Granada. The sound is unbeatably crisp and powerful. The tone is very voluminous with very precise basses and clear trebles. It has a fast response and is a dream for every player. It is a beautiful instrument, extraordinary because of its history, its unique sound and the magic of the spruce top which gives the instrument so much extra colour, depth and brilliance that it is a real joy to play.
The scale length is 660 mm and the nut width 52 mm. Back and sides are made of maple and the top is made of spruce.
The guitar is in played condition with numerous traces of use and play as well as a small repair on the top on the lower right.
It has been refretted and is now perfectly adjusted and ready for the next stage.
It comes in a matching guitar case.
