Martin HD-28 VS from 2014 – the ultimate highlight with all the desired pre-war attributes like: Scallopped Bracing, 12 frets up to the body, open headstock, Heringbone binding and and and
The VS models (Vintage Series) are based on the legendary pre-war models from Martin. In this period before World War II, Martin built guitars in very small numbers, with very high quality materials and by hand. Original guitars from this time are very much sought after by collectors and therefore Martin has decided to revive the instruments from this period to present them to a wider audience.
In this VS-series you will find a lot of features that inspire vintage lovers – such as the V-shaped neck profile, the open window head, open “butterbean” tuners, snowflake inlays, a neck-body transition at the 12th fret and a tinted vintage finish convey an authentic experience of the charisma that emanated from the original models.
The guitar is “used”, but shows hardly any signs of use.
