Description

Hermanos Conde 1975 Faustino Conde Flamenco Guitar – A Legendary Flamenca Blanca from the Golden Era

The Hermanos Conde 1975 Faustino Conde Flamenco Guitar is a rare treasure from one of the most iconic names in Spanish guitar making. Built by the master Faustino Conde himself, this instrument represents the pinnacle of the famed Conde sound — the sound that defined an entire generation of flamenco.

The Conde brothers — Faustino, Julio, and Mariano — began their careers under the guidance of the legendary Domingo Esteso, whose influence shaped their artistry. After Esteso’s passing, the brothers continued his legacy under the label Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso, eventually developing their own distinctive style during the 1960s.

Their guitars gained worldwide fame when Paco de Lucía adopted them as his signature instruments in the late 1960s and early 1970s. From that moment on, the Conde sound — deep, powerful basses and crystalline, singing trebles — became the benchmark for flamenco guitars. In countless vintage TV recordings from that era, nearly every young guitarist could be seen playing a Conde.

Among the three brothers, Faustino Conde was known as the technical and tonal genius — the driving force behind the greatest Conde guitars ever built. His instruments remain some of the most sought-after flamenco guitars in the world.
