Evelio Dominguez (1930 – 2015) was a skilled luthier known for his meticulous craftsmanship and deep understanding of classical guitar construction. Born in Cuba he began to built guitars, when he was 14 years old. He later moved to Madrid, where he opened his own shop. He has been influenced in his work by Antonio de Torres and Santos Hernandez. He had a good contact to Paulino Bernabe and learned from him as well.
His guitars are highly regarded for their balanced sound, refined aesthetics, and exceptional playability. Dominguez followed the time-honored techniques of Spanish guitar making, ensuring each instrument was built with precision and care.
This guitar features a cedar top, complemented by high-quality rosewood back and sides. The nut width is 52 mm, and the scale length is 645 mm, offering a comfortable playing experience.
