Domingo Esteso 1935 VGW Flamenco Guitar – a fantastically sounding replica handmade in Spain
This Domingo Esteso 1935 VGW Flamenco Guitar is a handmade guitar from our own production. In our own Vintage Guitar World (VGW) guitar series, we present historical replicas from the golden age of Spanish guitar making. Selected models by Santos Hernandez, Domingo Esteso, Marcelo Barbero, and other masters. These guitars are built in Spain by commissioned luthiers specifically according to our specifications.
This Domingo Esteso 1935 VGW Flamenco Guitar has a scale length of 655 mm and a nut width of 52 mm. The top of the guitar is made of spruce, the back and sides of Spanish cypress. The guitar is perfectly set up and, with a flat neck profile and low string action, perfectly suited for fast flamenco playing.
In terms of sound, this Domingo Esteso 1935 VGW Flamenco Guitar is an example of a very successful flamenco guitar. It produces a traditional flamenco tone characterized by quick response and a sharp, fiery edge that both captivates and inspires. The basses are full and powerful, while the treble strings are crisp and articulated, creating an ideal balance between warmth and brilliance. The dynamic range of the guitar is remarkable: when played softly, it produces a sweet, melodic voice full of warmth and depth. Conversely, when played with intensity, it unleashes a confident, percussive bark that resonates with the passion and energy of flamenco.
Thanks to this versatility, it is suitable both for delicate expression and for strong, rhythmic playing.
The guitar comes with a new guitar case.
This Domingo Esteso 1935 VGW Flamenco Guitar is a true treasure – an instrument that captures the essence of traditional flamenco with incomparable elegance and character.
