Martin D-35S 1988 Acoustic Guitar – Vintage Craftsmanship, Rare 12-Fret Power & Exceptional Tone

The Martin D-35S 1988 Acoustic Guitar carries the heritage of a company whose roots reach back to the 1830s and deep into German craftsmanship traditions. From the very beginning, Martin established an uncompromising standard of quality and innovation—most famously the patented X-bracing, which provides strength and resonance to the spruce top. This is one of the reasons why Martin guitars remain highly playable and tonally impressive even after decades.

The Martin D-35S is a special and rather uncommon instrument, especially from its 1988 production year. At a time when most buyers chose 14-fret models, this guitar combines the powerful Dreadnought body with a traditional 12-fret neck joint, a wide and substantial D-profile neck, and a generous 48 mm nut width.
The result is a powerful, responsive, and highly playable guitar—perfect for serious musicians and collectors alike.


The Martin D-35S 1988 Acoustic Guitar features:
