Description
Gibson J-35 1939 Acoustic Guitar – amazing opportunity to experience the authentic pre-war Dreadnought sound of a Gibson guitar.
Before the Second World War, both Martin and Gibson introduced new guitar models, handmade from the finest materials and produced in limited quantities. The Gibson J-35 was introduced in 1936 and built until 1942, when it was replaced by the J-45 model.
The J-35 features a spruce top with mahogany for the back, sides, and neck. This 1939 model is in good playing order and delivers a full, brilliant, lively, and responsive tone. The guitar is light as a feather, creating the most beautiful tones you can imagine. The woods vibrate wonderfully, providing this exquisite guitar with a charming, open and woody sound.
This Gibson J-35 1939 Acoustic Guitar is in good vintage condition. It has undergone a neck reset and a refret. It plays like butter, with a straight neck and a comfortable action. The bridge has been reglued or replaced, we can’t really tell as it definitely is a bridge from the time. There are a few professionally repaired cracks too.
This remarkable guitar comes with a non-original case and is ready to accompany you on your musical journey. Don’t miss the chance to own a true legend of the guitar world!
