This guitar was made by Ricardo Sanchis Nacher (1881-1960) and is historically very interesting, as it is similar to the last guitar that Agustin Barrios bought from Ricardo Sanchis Nacher.
We have compared this guitar with the guitars of Domingo Esteso, Manuel Ramirez ... It is absolutely fascinating how it is equal in sound to them.

Ricardo Sanchis Nacher is the founder of Sanchis guitars and the grandfather of Ricardo Sanchis Carpio.
The Ricardo Sanchis store in Valencia was founded in 1915 by Ricardo Sanchis Nacher. He worked for some time for guitar makers in Valencia, then went to Madrid, where he became friends with Manuel Ramirez and Domingo Esteso. To perfect his craft, he stayed in Madrid and worked for Domingo Esteso (the founder of today's Hermanos Conde guitars) for three years.
The Sanchis family has therefore maintained close relations with Esteso and his heirs, the Hermanos Conde, ever since.

The guitar was built around 1940. It has a spruce top and the back and sides are made of the finest maple. The scale length is 645 mm and the nut width is 52 mm.

It is a pleasantly light guitar, finely built with a beautifully colored rosette, a straight design and a smooth and flowing headstock shape.
This guitar has a wonderful vintage sound, the playability is incredibly comfortable and the guitar responds to the finest touch.
It has a lyrical, singing quality to its sound and the basses are powerful and well present. She can be very loud, with a very penetrating sonority, and yet she retains a charming tone.
It is a truly graceful instrument with a fascinating sound.
If someone is looking for a light flamenco guitar with the typical, deep flamenco sound of the old days at a reasonable price ... then this is the right guitar.

The guitar is comfortably adjusted for both hands with a low string action. It has a straight neck and good frets.
The condition is good and there is only a repaired crack on the top. The shellac has been lightly refreshed.
