Miguel Rodriguez 1969 2a flamenco guitar - truly a very special and rare guitar!
This flamenco guitar was made in the workshop of the legendary guitar maker Miguel Rodríguez in Calle Alfaros 15 (Córdoba).
Miguel Rodriguez‘ guitars are objects of desire for collectors and musicians all over the world, both for their meticulous construction and for the personality they have.
Miguel Rodriguez has always devoted himself intensively to building flamenco guitars and has achieved fantastic results. To this day, there is hardly a well-known guitarist who does not have a Rodriguez guitar in their collection.
This unique instrument was built with beautiful woods - spruce for the top, cypress back and sides. The scale length is 660 mm and the nut width 52 mm.
It's a 2a guitar - we don't know why the master made this decision at the time. In terms of sound, however, we can't tell any difference to the 1a instruments from the Rodriguez store.
The sound of this flamenco guitar is of unbeatable quality and personality. The basses are powerful, with exceptional depth. The trebles are crystal clear and bright, with great range and sustain, showing a perfect balance between the two.
The „rasgueos“ of this guitar are simply unbeatable: crystal clear, refracted and bright, with that special „dry“ and „hollow“ sound that is typical of the best flamenco guitars and makes its sound the quintessence of FLAMENCO.
The guitar is perfectly adjusted and offers the player a high level of comfort for both hands.
The condition is good. The luthier Andres Dominguez has carried out a small repair and refreshed the shellac polish.
It comes with the original case.
