Great and excellent sounding Viennese style guitar by Max Klein - this guitar built in 1970 is a powerful sounding example of a fine hand-built guitar!
Max Klein was born in Markneukirchen at the turn of the century. Like many other guitar makers, he completed his apprenticeship as a master guitar maker there.
He later moved to Koblenz, where he opened his workshop and built guitars until his death.
Max Klein's guitars are famous today because more and more people are realizing that his instruments are unbeatably good - especially when you consider their relatively low price.
Like Hermann Hauser I, Max Klein built the Viennese models to perfection!
The guitar has a German spruce top, maple back and sides and a rosewood fingerboard. The scale length is 630 mm and the nut width is 50 mm. The guitar is in very good condition. It is also equipped with an adjustable neck (Stauffer style).
The sound is loud, powerful and very dynamic - it has a large and deep body, which creates a sublime, almost majestic sound.
The sound is beautiful, masterful with concert quality. It has a lot of clarity, but at the same time an incredible tonal flexibility. It offers the magic that only an old, masterfully built guitar can produce.
The guitar offers a wide range of beautiful timbres in all registers.
