The Martin OM-42 is a dream of an acoustic guitar - the look is not inferior to the tonal elegance of this guitar. Gold-plated, open tuners, Style 45 fingerboard inlays made of abalone and an antique white binding underline the noble character of this Martin guitar.

This great guitar is built in the style of Martin's famous pre-war guitars. The X-bracing (the top bracing) is in the foreground and ensures perfect balance and nuances across the entire sound spectrum, which is a dream of a sound with defined basses, muted mids and crystal-clear highs, as the top can vibrate even more freely.
Song accompaniments, fingerpickers & flatpickers love this character.
The comfortable neck profile has become one of the most popular neck profiles, with a nut width of 4.44cm this is absolutely comfortable for everyone.
The legendary wood combination of Sitka spruce and rosewood (solid construction, of course) bears witness to the history of this instrument. Powerful, dynamic and always assertive, yet with plenty of room to reproduce fine articulations. Quite simply the way you would imagine a „real“ Martin to sound.

The elaborate mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays on the top, the top rim on the fingerboard and on the sound hole are the distinctive identifying features of an OM-42 and reflect the high-quality character of the instrument. This also includes the vintage look: the slightly tinted top suits the vintage character of the instrument very well and takes away the „bright glare“ of a natural spruce top right from the start....eben Vintage character at its best.
The cool little tear-drop pickguard completes the picture and makes the guitar stand out visually.

It comes in the original Martin case with the papers and an article from the acoustic guitar magazine. The guitar is from 2007 and in very good condition.
