Martin D-35 1966 acoustic guitar - a real cannon of a guitar - great and voluminous vintage dreadnought sound!
Together with the Martin D-28, the Martin D-35 is probably the most famous dreadnought guitar of all time. Who of the famous musicians hasn't played it?
The D-35 is the prime example of a 14-fret dreadnought and the construction basis for most dreadnoughts on the market. The combination of solid spruce and rosewood is very popular with sound engineers, as the sound is naturally balanced with tight basses and present trebles and is suitable for many modern styles.
This particular Martin D-35 1966 acoustic guitar is another one of those vintage tone monsters we all love. It's been played a lot over the years and therefore sings like a champ.
It has a very open, woody sound and that magical old-time tone that only the best vintage guitars have. The woods are beautifully aged, and while the rosewood gives the sound clarity and power, the spruce top produces the most beautiful timbres.
A real dream guitar that is great fun to play.
This Martin D-35 1966 acoustic guitar is in very good condition. It only has a tiny crack on the pickguard, which has been repaired. The neck has been reset and it plays very well, with a low action (E 2.3 mm and e 1.7 mm at the 12th fret) and a straight neck. It has a 43 mm nut width.
The Martin D-35 1966 acoustic guitar comes with the original hardshell case.
