The Martin D-28 is the prime example of a 14-fret dreadnought and the construction basis for most dreadnoughts on the market. The combination of solid spruce and rosewood is popular with sound engineers, as the sound is naturally balanced with tight basses and present trebles and is suitable for many modern styles.
The guitar on offer here dates from the 70s and has that incomparable vintage sound which, in addition to the huge basses, brings that great warm nuance to the tone that you only find on guitars with matured woods.
