Since its introduction in 1931, the C F Martin D-28 has been a successful, reliable model used by countless guitarists for performances and recordings.
The C F Martin D-28 has the same body design as other guitars in the D or Dreadnought series and features a spruce top paired with rosewood for the back, sides and headstock, mahogany for the neck and ebony for the fingerboard and bridge.
It's a pleasure to play a guitar like this. The tone is rich and full with the typical rosewood warmth, while the spruce top provides sparkle and clarity even when played hard. It sounds like a dream and is definitely one of the better D-28s we have sold!
This Martin D-28 1962 plays well and had a neck reset. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are new. The guitar has a new bridge, a new pickguard and a new nitro finish (all work was done very professionally).
It comes with a newer case.
