This Martin D-28 1954 is an extremely exciting guitar - a dream for players, with a sound that is incomparable.

Since its introduction in 1931, the C.F. Martin D-28 has been a staple in the world of acoustic guitars and is renowned for its reliability and exceptional sound. Appreciated by countless guitarists on stage and in the studio alike, it is considered one of Martin's most iconic models.

The D-28 follows the traditional dreadnought body shape and is made from high-quality materials: a spruce top is complemented by rosewood back, sides and headstock. The neck is made of mahogany, while the fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony. While the earlier pre-war models were decorated with herringbone purfling, this post-war version reflects the subtle design changes of its time.

Playing this D-28 from 1954 is a real pleasure. The sound is rich and resonant, a perfect combination of the warm depth of the rosewood and the bright, clear articulation of the fine spruce top. Whether gently plucked or vigorously strummed, the guitar delivers a remarkable sound that is full of character and balance. Professional musicians who have played this guitar confirm that it is an exceptional instrument.

This guitar truly has some stories to tell ... The good news is that it is in excellent playing condition. A recent neck reset ensures a low, comfortable string action and a straight neck, making it easy to play. The back and sides of the guitar used to be covered in leather - a look that Elvis fans love. In fact, the guitar originally came from a bar that was completely decorated in Elvis style and was used there as a house guitar. The back, sides and back of the neck have since been refinished. All cracks have been repaired. The machine heads are true-to-style vintage replacement machine heads and the bridge has also been renewed.

The signs of use give the guitar exactly the look you want from a cool-looking vintage instrument - a natural patina that emphasizes its charm and authenticity.

This Martin D-28 1954 comes with a newer case and is therefore complete. A fantastic opportunity to own a piece of guitar history - an instrument with character that sounds and plays as good as it looks.
