Beautiful pre-war Martin 0-15 from 1943 - it plays perfectly and sounds unbelievably good.
C. F. Martin 0-15 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1943), made in Nazareth (Pennsylvania), natural finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
This is an excellent sounding and easy to play pre-war Martin 0-15 with a very powerful sound for a small-bodied guitar with all-mahogany construction.
This 0-15 was built in 1943, at a time when the 14 fret version of the model was still a relatively new development that had already proved to be a very popular format.
Although the 0-15 has a simple appearance and is at the lower end of Martin's guitar series, it is nevertheless made from very high-quality materials to the highest standards.
Then as now, the 0-15 is an absolutely professional quality instrument that is extremely responsive and produces a full, singing tone.
This guitar shows some signs of use and has had a few minor repairs. The bridge has been reglued and repaired as well. It is a beautiful example, much cleaner than many of these worker guitars from the Great Depression era.
The neck has been reset and plays fantastically with a low string action and a straight fingerboard.
This guitar really has an outstanding sound. We love these little mahogany guitars from Martin, but the pre-war models are really exceptional guitars, and this one is well above average.
It is supplied with the original Martin case.
