This flamenco guitar was built by maestro Manuel de la Chica in 1963, who is considered the most important guitar maker in Granada. The style and sound quality of his guitars are often compared to the guitars of maestro Marcelo Barbero, as they worked together on some guitars that Santos Hernández left unfinished after his death.
His guitars are recognized and praised by collectors, luthiers and guitarists all over the world.
The woods of this guitar are exceptionally good. The German spruce top has a straight and even grain. The cypress back and sides are of the highest possible quality on the market, both for their beauty and their sound characteristics.
The scale length is 655 mm and the nut width 52 mm.
The sound that comes out of this work of art is worth listening to: powerful and deep basses, the overtones it produces are truly magical. It has that special timbre that is so typical and unmistakable. It produces a very special kind of sound - full of style and character.
The guitar is comfortably adjusted for both hands with a low string action. It has a straight neck and good frets. The condition is also very nice, with only 2 small repairs on the top.
It comes with the original case.
