Lowden guitars are known all over the world. In the years 1980 - 1985, the production of his guitars went to Japan. This guitar was made in 1985 after production had returned to Northern Ireland.
The ‚S‘ model is now Georges Lowden's concert size body design. In the early days, however, the „S“ model was produced in jumbo size and this guitar is therefore identical to today's „O“ model. The combination of cedar wood and mahogany is pure magic on this guitar.
Mahogany gives the sound dynamics and depth, while cedar wood provides warmth and volume.
