Juan Ponce was a guitar maker in Valencia in the second half of the nineteenth and first half of the twentieth century (he was active from 1889 - 1920). Juan Ponce, Vicente Parres and Salvador Sancho also jointly opened the Salvador Sancho C.A. guitar factory in Valencia.
This guitar is a real masterpiece. It is very well built and beautifully decorated.
The materials are of very high quality. The top is made of fine spruce, the back and sides of rosewood. The nut width is 46 mm and the scale length 642 mm.
