Juan Estruch 1972 Flamenco Guitar - Rare master guitar by master luthier Juan Estruch. Fantastic sound and high-quality workmanship are combined in this great guitar.

Juan Estruch is one of the venerable guitar makers in Spain. His guitars, such as this one from the „yellow label“ period, are particularly well-known among musicians. They have a deep and rich tone and are appreciated by musicians and collectors alike.

They are also known for Chet Atkins. When asked shortly before his death which of his hundreds of guitars was his favorite to play, he chose his 1964 Juan Estruch without hesitation. In fact, this was the guitar that Atkins played every day and on which he made many of his „basement“ recordings that were found after his death.

This Juan Estruch is an absolute beauty with beautiful ornaments that give it its typical vintage character. The feel of this guitar takes us back to the time of the great masters of flamenco!
This Estruch was built in 1972 and is an absolute rarity today. It has a very fine spruce top and the best Spanish cypress for the back and sides. 52 mm nut width and 650 mm scale length - plus a perfect string action. The guitar is easy to play.

Sound and playability are excellent!
It has the typical flamenco sound of an absolutely masterfully built guitar. Dry, crisp and with a razor-sharp attack! It responds incredibly quickly and is super easy to play. You get everything you want here.
The basses are very pronounced, but the guitar is still balanced at all levels.

The condition of this Juan Estruch is very good - it only has slight signs of wear!
