Jose Rodriguez „Church Door“ guitar in the style of Miguel Rodriguez - a wonderful instrument with an impressive sound!
Jose Rodriguez was born in Andújar in 1958. He began making guitars at an early age and learned a lot from the great masters Miguel Rodríguez and Manuel Reyes before opening his own workshop in 1972.
His guitars are works of art, completely handmade. Many famous guitarists play his guitars ... Pepe de Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Paco Serrano and many more.
This amazing guitar is built in the style of the famous Miguel Rodriguez church-door classical guitars. Jose Rodriguez had a close relationship with Miguel Rodriguez and was strongly influenced by his guitars.
This guitar is simply magnificent and a work of art. It has a beautiful cedar top and back and sides made of seasoned rosewood. The scale length is 655 mm and the nut width is 52 mm.
The sound of this guitar is powerful, rich and dark - as elegant and majestic as its appearance. It lives up to its reputation with ease - with powerful and thick trebles and loose, booming basses that give the guitar great personality with its fiesta-like exuberance. It's incredibly easy to play - Jose Rodriguez is famous for the comfortable shape of his necks, and this one is a fantastic example of that.
This guitar really has it all - the look, sound and feel of one of the most iconic instruments of the twentieth century. It sounds as majestic as it looks - big, broad and lush sound with a flamenco-like response and an utterly southern Spanish character.
The condition is good, but it has some signs of use and wear all around. It plays easily with a low action and a straight neck.
It comes with the original case.
