Jose Ramirez 1960 Classical Guitar - a great sounding classical guitar built in the workshop of José Ramirez in 1960. It has the real old Ramirez sound ... a great guitar and a piece of history!
The Ramirez family is the most famous dynasty in the guitar world. The story began around 1870, when José Ramirez I completed his training with Francisco González and opened his own workshop. José Ramirez II (1885-1957) continued to build guitars following his father's example.
Many of the greatest guitarists, both in classical music and flamenco, have played Ramirez instruments.
This Jose Ramirez 1960 classical guitar has a scale length of 650 mm and a nut width of 52 mm. It is in original condition and was professionally restored some time ago.
We haven't seen many of these old guitars that play so well, with a low action and a straight neck.
The sound of this Jose Ramirez 1960 Classical guitar is a real treat... an authentic vintage sound found only on the best old guitars built by a skilled master. It has a robust, creamy tone quality and a beautiful, fast, springy response, a characteristic found in the best Spanish instruments.
It has these deep basses and a round, beautiful vintage tone. A rich sound with the most beautiful timbres.
It is supplied with a newer case.
