Johann Haslwanter ~1872 Viennese guitar in Stauffer style - excellent sound characteristics!
Johann Haslwanter was a famous instrument maker in Munich.
He was the royal court instrument maker in Munich and is known for his outstanding quality in instrument making. His guitars are in the tradition and style of Johann Georg Stauffer's guitars.
This guitar was expertly crafted from high-quality materials.
One-piece maple back, top-quality Stauffer tuners, elaborate ornamentation - as well as impeccable and masterful craftsmanship ... all this makes this guitar a very fine instrument.
The maple used for the back and sides is of excellent quality. The guitar also has a very fine spruce top.
This guitar has been restored and has some repairs. We have checked everything and adjusted it well. It plays very easily with a straight neck and low action.
The guitar sounds classy and immediately impresses with a very complex tone. The basses are deep and the trebles are soft, lively and colorful with great expressiveness.
As soon as you play the guitar, you have the impression of merging with the instrument, because the sound is very touching, this guitar awakens deep emotions and you can literally feel how the notes jump out of the instrument.
In any case, a romantic guitar at a very high level, with which you can authentically revive the music of that time.
