Ignacio Fleta e Hijos 1992 - powerful guitar with a deep and charming tone!
This is a great Fleta from 1992, built for the great guitar personality Rüdiger Zieroth, who was its first owner. Rüdiger Zieroth was a guitarist from Hamburg. He was best known in Germany for his so-called talk concerts.
The Fleta design is known for its unique approach to guitar making, incorporating Fleta's techniques and processes from the earlier days of violin and cello making into the construction of guitars. The resulting sound is very haunting, dark and mysterious and is perfectly suited to contemporary, Spanish or South American repertoire. Another remarkable characteristic is the excellent sustain in practically all registers. The playability is easy, with a very comfortable neck and a good response to the right hand.
This particular Fleta has all the elements you could want from a top model - tremendous power, perfect balance, deep, warm tone and great clarity between notes in all registers. This guitar displays these qualities in great, bold style. The condition is very good with only a few traces of playing and a few minor signs of use. You can see that the guitar has been played regularly over the years, but has always been very well cared for.
Fleta guitars have been played by many of the world's best guitarists over the last half century... legends like Andres Segovia, Angel Romero, John Williams, Turibio Santos, Alirio Diaz, and Marcelo Kayath, among others.
This is an extremely powerful and dynamic fleta from a great period that is very attractive to both the collector and the artist because of its great sound and provenance.
The guitar has a cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width is 52 mm.
It comes with the original guitar case.
