Hopf La Portentosa 2004 - An exceptional concert guitar with outstanding craftsmanship, tonal brilliance and effortless playability.

Dieter Hopf is one of the most renowned guitar makers in Germany and continues a family tradition that dates back to 1669. His La Portentosa model is considered a true masterpiece and is prized for its perfect balance, enormous projection and impressive tonal variety. World-famous musicians such as Pepe Romero and Sonny Black have played Hopf guitars and appreciate their rich sound and exceptional precision.

This La Portentosa from 2004 has a finely aged cedar top that provides exceptional clarity, warmth and resonance. The back and sides are made of high-quality rosewood, which gives the sound more volume and depth. The ebony fingerboard provides a smooth playing feel, while the Spanish cedar neck is lightweight and responsive. With a nut width of 52 mm, a scale length of 650 mm and a string action of 3.7 mm (E) and 2.8 mm (e) at the 12th fret, this guitar offers optimum playing comfort for both classical and flamenco-oriented guitarists.

The sound of this guitar is extremely powerful and effortlessly fills the entire room. It requires minimal effort to produce this impressive tone. The brilliant trebles respond extremely quickly and project superbly, while the deep basses resonate powerfully and give the playing an impressive fullness.

The guitar produces a warm, voluminous sound with a dark timbre and excellent separation of the individual notes. The balance between bass and treble is even across the entire fingerboard, making this master instrument versatile and suitable for a wide range of musical styles and techniques.

The guitar is in excellent condition, with only minimal traces of use. It is completely original, including the high-quality machine heads and the elegant shellac polish. The original case is included to protect the instrument optimally.

A first-class choice for discerning musicians and collectors looking for a top-class concert guitar with an incomparable sound and masterly craftsmanship.
