Hermanos Conde is one of the most respected names in flamenco guitar making and stands for a tradition of excellent craftsmanship that has shaped generations of musicians. Legendary guitarists such as Sabicas, Paco de Lucía, Pepe Habichuela, Niño Josele, Tomatito and Moraito have entrusted their unique sound to these instruments. The brothers Faustino, Julio and Mariano Conde learned their craft from Domingo Esteso, one of Spain's most important guitar makers. After his death, they continued his work under the name Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso, developing their own style and perfecting the art of flamenco guitar making. In the 1960s, their innovations resulted in instruments with deep, resonant basses and clear, expressive trebles - qualities that impressed the young Paco de Lucía. He switched from Ramírez guitars to Conde, shaping the modern flamenco sound and making these guitars the first choice of the best flamenco players.
