Hermanos Conde 1990 „Paco de Lucía Special“ - A masterpiece of flamenco guitars with legendary heritage and Paco de Lucía's signature

Hermanos Conde - Sobrinos de Esteso occupies an incomparable position among the most renowned names in flamenco guitar making.

Flamenco legends such as Sabicas, Paco de Lucía, Pepe Habichuela, Niño Josele, Tomatito and Moraito relied on Hermanos Conde guitars to shape their unique sound. For anyone who appreciates the unmistakable sound of Paco de Lucía, a Conde guitar is not just an instrument, but a piece of flamenco history.

Tradition and master craftsmanship

The Conde brothers Faustino, Julio and Mariano learned their craft from the legendary Domingo Esteso, one of Spain's most respected guitar makers. After Esteso's death, the brothers continued his work under the name Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso and developed their own unmistakable style.

In the 1960s, they began to build guitars with powerful, deep basses and clear, expressive trebles - precisely the characteristics that fascinated the young Paco de Lucía. He switched from Ramírez guitars to Conde, and from that moment on, their instruments became an integral part of his unique sound. From the late 60s onwards, Paco's performances and recordings were instrumental in establishing Conde guitars as the gold standard of flamenco.

A rare and iconic instrument

This „Paco de Lucía Special“ from 1990 is a limited special edition made in honor of the master himself. The guitar bears the signatures of Paco de Lucía and Conde on the label, making it a particularly coveted collector's item.

With a cedar top and rosewood back and sides, it strongly resembles Paco's personal guitar. The scale length is 664 mm, the nut width 52 mm, which offers an excellent balance between power and precision. The string action at the 12th fret is 2.7 mm (low E-string) and 2.1 mm (high E-string) - ideal for comfortable and effortless playability.

Exceptional sound and feel

The sound of this guitar is simply breathtaking. It offers the quick response and brilliant articulation of a real flamenco guitar, with assertive basses and radiant trebles that unfold effortlessly in the room. Its sound combines both elegance and the fiery intensity that characterizes flamenco.

Played with gentle dynamics, it unfolds a warm, lyrical timbre full of overtones. But as soon as it is forced, it reveals its powerful, percussive side, which is unmistakably flamenco. This expressive versatility - from subtle nuances to assertive presence - only characterizes the best instruments.

Excellent condition & collector's value

Considering its age, this Paco de Lucía Special from 1990 is in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of use that emphasize its authentic character. Its outstanding craftsmanship, historical significance and direct connection to one of the greatest flamenco guitarists of all time make it a truly exceptional instrument.

Whether you are a player, collector or flamenco enthusiast, this Hermanos Conde guitar is an inspiring and rare discovery that embodies the passion, tradition and artistry of Spanish flamenco at its finest.
