This remarkable Hermanos Conde 1970s Negra Flamenco guitar is a masterpiece crafted in the workshop of Calle Pozuelo de Alarcón and reflects the influence and heritage of Domingo Esteso. With its vintage charm and outstanding playability, it is an instrument of historical significance and musical brilliance.

The history of the Hermanos Conde is inextricably linked to the history of flamenco. Faustino, Julio and Mariano Conde began their careers as guitar makers for the legendary Domingo Esteso, a revered master who guided and trained them. After Esteso's death, the three brothers gradually established themselves under the label „Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso“. In the 1960s, however, it was difficult to make a living from selling flamenco guitars alone - until Paco de Lucía discovered their instruments for himself in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

This collaboration marked a turning point for the Conde brothers. With their powerful basses, singing trebles and unmistakable flamenco character, their guitars gained enormous popularity. Paco de Lucía, one of the most iconic flamenco guitarists in history, became associated with Conde guitars, and their instruments soon dominated the flamenco world, as can be seen in countless recordings and performances of this era.
