Spectacular sounding Guild F-20 NT 1958 - special bracing and very impressive vintage sound!
Alongside Martin and Gibson, Guild is one of the major US guitar manufacturers. The company was founded in 1952 by Alfred Dronge and George Mann. By 1956, Guild was so successful that it had to move to larger premises in Hoboken, New Jersey. This is where some of today's highly sought-after Guild guitars were built.
In the 1950s and 1960s, Guild supplied many famous musicians and became increasingly popular.
This great F-20 NT comes from this golden age of Guild. These guitars are known for their brilliance and warmth. With their small body, similar to a Martin O-18, they are perfect for blues, jazz, fingerstyle ...
This fantastic guitar is resonant and punchy, with a full tone and great clarity and definition. It is a very responsive guitar with a very comfortable string action and a great neck feel. The projection is focused but not overly trebly. The warm vintage tone adds a lot of charm to this great guitar.
It is in very good condition for its age with no cracks or major repairs. The binding has been repaired in some places.
It comes with the original case.
