Gibson LG-2 3/4 1958 Vintage Acoustic Guitar - these little treasures with their unique sound are rare and sought after!
Produced in smaller quantities than its full-size LG brethren, the LG-2 3/4 measures 12 3/4″ across the lower bout width with a 22 3/4″ scale length. The tonewoods consist of a spruce top, Honduras mahogany back and sides and a one-piece mahogany neck.
This mini-sized LG has a clear, singing tone with excellent projection and sweetness, with a „boxy bark“ indicative of the ladder-braced design. The treble strings have a sparkling sound, and the strings deliver a rich percussive tone and warmth in the lower midrange. The instrument is light as a feather and has a professional setup with a very comfortable string action (the guitar received a neck reset).
The glossy sunburst nitro finish is 100% original, with no touch-ups or overspray. The guitar has a few cracks that have been professionally repaired.
