This Gibson LG-2 from the early 50's is a real stunner - rocked hard, with a sound to die for! It's a harmonically rich acoustic guitar, with a ton of vibe and a great open tone as well as excellent playability - just the way we want it.

This beautiful guitar is built from solid spruce and mahogany, with a beautifully aged warm sunburst finish, a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and a rosewood bridge. It also has the original tuners.

This guitar is in rough condition - scars and wear all around, but rock solid. It has been checked by our luthier and is ready for immediate use.
It plays very easily with a straight neck and newer frets.

This guitar is one of the most articulate, mature mahogany guitars we have ever owned - simply amazing. Rich and deep ... a very powerful guitar. The overall construction and the mature woods create this unique sound that cannot be described with any degree of accuracy.

The FON dates this guitar to 1951.

It comes with a newer case.
