Super clean 1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior 3/4 double cut in all original condition.
Short scale, cherry red with non-original case. This guitar has been played, but is in very good condition and in perfect working order. There are scratches, dings, a small chip, finish checking, and all the typical wear adding to the vintage mojo of the guitar. Everything on the guitar is original - plastic tuner buttons have been replaced. There are no cracks, repairs, or major issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets are in good condition with average wear.
This guitar is a cool light player and it sounds fantastic. While designed as a student guitar, the Junior has become justly renowned as one of the most powerful of all straight rock guitars, with fantastic natural overdrive capabilities when paired with the right amp. The combination of the solid, thick mahogany body and neck with the single dog-ear mounted P-90 and bar bridge maximizes tonal response. Many prefer this model to all others for both crunch rhythm and searing lead.
