Gibson L-00 from 1938 - a real cannon of a guitar. If you want a vintage flat-top guitar that none of your friends have - then this is the guitar for you.
It's hard to argue against an old L-00. These are killer guitars. The good ones - like this one - have that classic Gibson sound. They're woody, clear and open sounding, and they're „hi-fi“ because you can clearly hear every note you play. They're not overloaded with sweeping mids, complicated harmonics or sweetened highs. They're cool, straightforward guitars - they reproduce what you put into them, albeit through a woody “old Gibson" filter. There are good reasons why these instruments are as popular and sought after as they are.
This guitar is in pretty good condition considering its age. Of course it shows signs of play and use and has several small crack repairs. It has had a neck reset and plays incredibly easily with a low action, straight neck and good frets.
It is a 12 fret version and has a beautiful V-shaped neck with a wider nut (approx. 48 mm).
It comes with a newer case.
