A wonderful guitar, this Gibson L-00 from 1935
The sound of this Gibson is simply stunning. One of the best small body vintage guitars we've had. Here you get the ultimate vintage blues sound. Today's guitars really can't compete with this one!
The top is made of spruce, the back and sides are made of mahogany - the guitar is light as a feather!
I repeat, this L-00 sounds really, really, really good. It is mature and perfectly balanced, with present mids, crystal clear highs and rich bass (amazing what comes out of this small body).
The small body also gives the sound a great projection - the sound comes directly and without detours.
The guitar is in very good condition for its age. It has repaired cracks, all of which are stable. The machine heads have been replaced.
The playability is very good. The neck (neck reset was made) is straight and the frets are in good condition.
