A very cool 1943 Gibson J-45 „Banner“ ... it has that killer sound from the old days ... spruce top and mahogany back and sides ... everything you need for a magical sound experience!

Banner Gibson J-45s are among the most sought-after vintage guitars. During the war, Gibson produced only a few instruments and built each instrument with great care.
Only the best materials were used for this guitar. It has a very beautiful spruce top and beautiful mahogany back and sides. It has a very beautiful and strong maple neck and a thin layer of this stunning sunburst finish. The finish is 100% original.

This Gibson is very resonant, has a balanced sound with impressive basses, present mids and characteristic highs. The sound is deep and the guitar vibrates perfectly. It has that charming sound that you can only find in a well-played and beautifully matured vintage guitar.

It is completely original. The varnish on the back of the neck has been renewed and a mini piezo pickup (brand unknown) has been installed.
The FON is faded, but according to the specifications and the information provided by the previous owner, it can be dated to 1943.

It plays well with a low action and a straight neck and new comfortable frets.

The guitar comes with a very nice older case (probably from the 60s).
