Gibson Hummingbird 1968 - an extraordinary guitar, because it is one of the rare Hummingbirds with a natural finish!
This guitar has aged beautifully. The gorgeous honey-colored spruce top and the subtle lacquer crackling make the guitar a vintage beauty. The neck reset and refretting (including PLEK job) make the guitar extremely playable. The sound of the instrument is absolutely fantastic and hard to put into words.
The combination of all these features makes this guitar a dream instrument - this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a fabulous Hummingbird!
The Gibson Hummingbird is one of the most famous Gibson models - the list of famous players ranges from Bob Dylan to Keith Richards and Mick Jagger - the Hummingbird has a cult status among acoustic guitars and is probably the most beautiful of all Gibson models.
This one sounds very open and warm - a great vintage sound! It also has a nice attack, good bass, but not muddy at all. Truly one of the best sounding Gibson dreadnought guitars we've heard! It's a guitar with character and history - simply fantastic!
This Hummingbird is in great condition and completely original. It has no cracks and only the usual signs of play and use. The ADJ bridge has been professionally replaced with a much better bone saddle bridge.
The guitar comes with the original Gibson case!
