Beautiful handmade instrument by Frank-Peter Dietrich - transparent and powerful sound!

The Dietrich family business has been making instruments since the beginning of the 19th century. Guitar and lute making has been cultivated since 1904, represented by master builder Frank-Peter Dietrich and his son Markus Dietrich in the 4th generation. Frank-Peter Dietrich is undoubtedly one of the best-known guitar makers in Germany

The references of renowned soloists who play his guitars are very long: Prof. Marga Wilden-Hüsgen, Marlo Strauß, Prof. Juan Carlos Munoz, Marie Fe Pavon, Prof. Manuel Munoz, Prof. Caterina Lichtenberg, Anna Torge, Silke Lisko, Rupert Gehrmann, Manuela Frescura, Jakob Lindberg, Prof. Alexander Frauchi, Prof. Monika Rost, Prof. Christiane Spannhof, Prof. József Eötvös, Prof. Jorge Oraison, Gertrud Weyhofen, Michael Tröster, Hans-Werner Apel, The Baltimore Consort (USA), Consort Micrologus (Italy) and many others.

Dietrich won the Gold Medal at the Leipzig Fair in 1986 and the Bavarian State Prize in 1991, which is further proof of the high quality of Dietrich instruments.

The materials used are of very high quality:

Cedar top
Back and sides made from East Indian rosewood
Mahogany neck
Ebony fingerboard
gold-colored mechanisms
Saddle width 52 mm
Scale length 650 mm
The guitar is hand-polished with shellac.

The sound of the guitar is really stunning. It has matured over the years - the guitar is a one-owner instrument and in very good condition.

The sound of this guitar is powerful, rich and dark - elegant and majestic. It lives up to its reputation with ease - with powerful and rich highs and loose, bouncy basses that give the guitar a great personality.
It's exceptionally easy to play - Dietrich guitars are famous for the comfortable shape of their necks, this one is a fantastic example.
This guitar really has it all - the look, sound and feel of a great, masterfully crafted instrument.

The guitar comes with a matching case.
