Francisco Manuel Fleta 1962 - Extremely rare and beautiful sounding guitar, built by the brother of Ignacio Fleta!

Born in 1880, Francisco Manuel Fleta began making instruments at an early age and completed his first violin at the age of 15. His father supported him and organized an apprenticeship with the violin maker Benito Jaume, who had his workshop in Barcelona. M. Fleta worked with Benito Jaume for three years before perfecting his skills with Etienne Marie. He finally opened his own workshop in Barcelona in 1915. He also trained his brothers Ignacio and Bienvenido Fleta in guitar making.

This guitar by Francisco Manuel Fleta was built in 1962 and is entirely in keeping with the guitar-making tradition of the Fleta family. The top is made of beautiful spruce wood. The back and sides are made of black-stained cypress.
There is a professionally repaired crack on the back, which is stable. Overall, the guitar is in good condition. It has a scale length of 667 mm and a nut width of 49 mm.

The guitar has a beautiful sound with a lyrical and at the same time very present treble and the basses sound very warm and crisp.
The cypress back and sides combined with the wooden tuning pegs makes this guitar a very light instrument. It has a loose, warm and very open sound while maintaining excellent clarity. The response is direct and the guitar gives the player a feeling of liveliness and spontaneity. The instrument leaves plenty of room for the player's creativity and is absolutely inspiring.

It comes with a newer guitar case.
