Production up to 1965 (pre-CBS phase) was carried out under very high quality controls, in small quantities and with the best materials. This is why these guitars are very popular with players and collectors.
This guitar was built in 1964 and has a 3-tone sunburst finish. It is a much played and loved instrument and therefore has a cool vintage look. The special thing about this guitar is that it has only had 2 owners. Both have loved and enjoyed this guitar and for good reason ... it has that killer vintage tone.
The guitar plays fantastically and sounds incredibly good - certainly a dream guitar for every player and collector. This Stratocaster clearly shows why these guitars are so popular. It has the typical bell-like sound and this round, clear tone.
It is completely original and weighs 3.4 kg. It has all the original rust and dust and all the vintage mojo you can imagine. It plays beautifully with freshly dressed original frets and a straight neck. All electronics and cables are original and in good condition.
The original case has been damaged over the years and the guitar comes with a newer and nice looking 60's vintage style case.
