Espana Harp Guitar 1960’s - extraordinary guitar built in Finland - with a special look and sound!
Espania is a guitar brand that was manufactured in the Landola factory in Pietarsaari (Finland). Classical guitars were produced under this brand for the European and North American markets.
This harp guitar or pseudo harp, as some call it, is a special construction with a hollow arm on the left side of the instrument. This construction gives the instrument a deeper and fuller sound. In addition, the second sound hole, which is closer to the player's ear, gives the player a beautiful sound response. The top of the guitar is made of spruce wood. The back and sides are made of rosewood. The scale length is 630 mm and the nut width is 50 mm.
The sound of this guitar is truly exceptional. The sound is perceived completely differently by the player, as it comes close to the player's ear due to the additional cavity. The basses of the guitar are deep and powerful, and the trebles are bright and crystal clear. It has a nice sustained sound and a good balance between bass and treble. A very nice timbre that combines power and volume with quality and perfect pitch.
The condition of this guitar is good. It has a few minor repairs and you can see the signs of aging and playing on it. The neck is straight and the guitar plays great with a low action and good frets.
