Antonio Sanchez FCWE „Gypsy Kings“ - extremly nice guitar - a lot of fun to play!
Antonio Sanchez was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1948. He started to build guitars when he was just a child as a hobby. This passion took him to work in different workshops, with different luthiers, learning the art of guitar building. In 1984 he fulfilled his dream and started his own workshop, in which he continues working, selecting the woods and supervising every instrument together with 20 more luthiers to whom he has transmitted his knowledge during all these years.
Antonio Sanchez has close relationship to Cordoba guitars and this model FCWE „Gypsy Kings“ was built in colaboration with them.
This model features solid European Spruce as material for the top and solid cypress for the back and sides. It is a thinbody guitar with a cutaway. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width 52 mm.
With its fan bracing and thin body, this guitar is a lot of fun to play .... it reacts immedeate to the finest touch, which gives his guitar has a very lively character.
The basses are great and not too boomy, along with crystal clear and clean highs, this guitar also impresses with balance and great projection.
The guitar was built in 2021 and is in very good condition. Only a very small crack is visible on the top. It has been checked by our luthier and is only superficial and doesn't move. The guitar is absolutely ready to go and enjoy.
