Beautiful Torres guitar, built by Antonio Picado - beautiful and good sounding guitar
Antonio Picado builds his guitars in his workshop in Berga, a town high up in the Pyrenees near Barcelona.
Antonio Picado has dedicated himself to the art of guitar making for over 40 years. The instruments created in his workshop are among the best instruments currently available on the classical guitar market.
They combine great playability, beautiful sound, excellent workmanship and a long history of guitar making into a surprisingly affordable guitar.
This beautifully crafted guitar was built in the style of the Torres guitars from around 1857. It is slightly smaller in size and has a scale length of 630 mm and a nut width of 50 mm. It has a beautiful spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides.
It has elements of Torres' FE09 from 1859 (the famous Llobet guitar) and has the size, dimensions and materials of a guitar built by Torres in 1857.
The tone and sustain of this guitar are exceptional. It has a consistently well-defined sound spectrum and an astonishingly large volume. The Torres-typical fan bracing gives this guitar a plus in brilliance and dynamics, while the excellent woods make the tone colors shine.
A dream guitar that produces the most beautiful timbres ... simply to fall in love with!
The condition is very good, almost like new!
The guitar is easy to play, has a straight neck and a pleasantly low string action.
It comes with the original hard case.
