This classical guitar was built in 1967 by Alfonso Checa in Baza (Granada).
Alfonso Checa and his studio's instruments were awarded the gold medal at the international trade fair in Madrid (1953). A few years later, they also received the top prize at the exhibition in Ronda.
He taught his children, who continue to run his workshop to this day.
This guitar was made from very beautiful wood. The top is made of very high quality German spruce. The back and sides are made of very fine walnut.
The sound is excellent. The basses have a very special depth and the trebles are very clear. It has an absolutely charming classic sound and the tone has very nice vintage timbres.
The scale length is 654 mm and the nut width 52 mm. The condition is very good. The guitar is in very good condition, without cracks or breaks.
It is supplied with the original case.
